Bedwars Season 3 has begun!
What's lost?
Starting with the bad news....
Fall boots are gone :((( Fall boots were feather falling 4 golden boots. They are great when combined with wind charges. Wind charges can launch you massive distances, however you take a ton of damage when falling but the fall boots prevent it.
Bedwars Manor will be going soon. Play it while it lasts. (to be honest I bet not many people play Manor). Compare Manor to say squads etc, it only has 100 - 200 people, where the other games have 1000 plus mostly. If you want a long lasting game go for Manor (while you can) as you get automatic deep slate bed defence and less void, good for new players.
Lost Totems (apart from Manor, but see above). No more regen totems, fire totems and to be honest who really cares about the mining fatigue totems.
What's gained?
Now for the good stuff.
1) VALKYRIE WINGS!! Op! So the valkyrie wings are basically wind charges. You don't have to place them on a block and they are a lifesaver if someone knocks you into the void - which can happen quite often.
2) The Odin Spear. Once again, pretty good. Not as good as the valkyrie wings. The odin spear destroys all blocks around it, making it incredibly helpful for breaking bed defences. It can go through deep slate instantly (for real). It also does a good amount of damage when you throw it at people even though it got nerfed as at the beginning of bedwars season 3 it could 3 hit a guy in diamond armour. Plus it gives slowness when it hits people which is nice.
3) Drum roll please... They re-introduced turrets. They removed them in Bedwards Season 2 but now they have reintroduced them. And they were also in Bedwards Season 1. Turrets are these NPC's that basically shoot arrows at enemies and can be pretty annoying if you don't know how to deal with them pretty quickly. And that is why they are a great defence. I only recommend buying these in long lasting games like squads. Recommend placing them near a bridge or around your bed or bed crystals if you are playing mega. Speaking of mega...
4) Bedwars Mega, the newest gamemode to Bedwars.
Re-introduced from treasure wars. Bedwars Mega is a game where you are on a team of 12 (I think) and also you have bed crystals which keep your bed alive. If your bed crystals are gone it leaves your bed vulnerable to enemies not frenemies. :D
5) Level 100.
By the way we don't want to explain how XP levels work as there are thousands of cosmetics from gaining levels. If you get 100 XP levels you get a new costume.
